Honey

apple goo
hanging in a tree
sweetly coating the mist of all the leaves

pools of golden
stickiness
like the sun's shining reflection
setting in the west

tough and stubborn
pulling my dipped apple
out
plop,
munch,
chew!

Tough but yet tasty
sweet with a side of goo
seeping out my lips
glistening like the sun
tummy yummy
gram cracker butter
apple goo too
coating,
misting all the leaves
falling around
you.

You capture the essence of fall!

I love the metaphor
"pools of golden
stickiness
like the sun's shining reflection
setting in the west"

What an appropriate comparison for a fall poem.

Let's look at the last stanza in class to make it match the other verses in simplicity.

Love it!
